I take a lot of photos of Australian beaches in bright sunshine – we have no shortage of those days, particularly in Queensland. However, you can’t beat a bit of fog and rain set against a sandy beach to add some drama to the scene. I took this photo in Yamba, New South Wales last December. It was the middle of the summer but a short bout of bad weather rolled in just as we headed to the beach. 20 mins after I took this photo the weather was beautiful again.
