We did the North Gorge Walk on North Stradbroke Island at the weekend. North Stradbroke Island, and Point Lookout in particular, must be one of the most beautiful places in Australia. We don't go there often enough (especially considering we live in walking distance to the ferry to get over there). We were in for a treat this time around. After standing on the cliff-tops and spotting Whales, Turtles and a school of Dolphins literally surfing the waves, we walked around the gorge to find a a couple of Kangaroos happily munching on some leaves in the bushes.

Looking down into the gorge I spotted this fella happily floating away. Next time I might climb down and join him!
