During our visit to Port Vila, Vanuatu, we took a full-day tour around the island (Efate). After meeting the Melanesian warriors in the morning we went for lunch at this beach. The weather by then was getting worse by the minute. I just managed to get a few shots in before the rain started, and being the tropics, it really did rain! The gloomy weather allowed me to make use of my Neutral Density filter to reduce further the amount of light going to the camera sensor – allowing a longer exposure to get a glassy look to the waves.
